Alex Hunter breaks down his favorite WNBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s night’s three-game slate.
On the menu for Sunday is a three-game WNBA slate. Below, I have featured two of my favorite WNBA player prop bets for these contests on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Sabally made her anticipated debut for the Liberty this past Thursday vs. the Valkyries, but the former All-Star didn’t do much, scoring just five points. Sabally saw a strong 28.4% usage rate, but she only logged 16 minutes and struggled with her shot, going 2-of-8 from the field. She was limited as she recovered from a cyst and she is expected to see a similar workload tonight vs. the Wings, possibly with a few minutes near 20, per Liberty HC Chris DeMarco.
Chris DeMarco: "We'll probably try to keep Satou around the same as last game, maybe a few more, and we're not gonna play Sab 40 minutes. We'll see how they feel throughout the game." (Q: @DougFeinberg)

Dallas is a plus matchup, ranking 11th in defensive rating this season, but around 20 minutes isn’t much work for the rusty Sabally and she is likely to see a lower usage rate, as Sabriana Ionescu (foot) will be making her season debut. This will be the first time Ionescu and Sabally have played together in the WNBA, and these two high usage players are naturally going to hurt each other’s usage rates. Last season, both Sabally and Ionescu both ranked inside the top-10 in usage rate in the WNBA. There are many things working against Sabally tonight and she shouldn’t crack double-figures.
Citron is averaging 20 PPG this season, but her outside shooting has been a problem. Citron is only shooting 27% from beyond the arc and in her four starts, she has finished with three, zero, one and one made trey.
That performance in which Citron hit three treys came against the Tempo, who rank 12th in defensive rating this season. The 22-year-old is in a much tougher spot tonight vs. the Storm, who rank fifth in defensive rating. The Mystics and Storm both rank inside the bottom-five in pace and Citron failing to hit multiple treys in this setting is the most likely outcome.
