Alex Hunter breaks down his favorite WNBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Tuesday’s three-game slate.
Tuesday presents a three-game WNBA slate. Below, I have featured three of my favorite WNBA player prop bets for these contests on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Fudd moved into the Wings’ starting lineup three games ago, and after posting 22 points vs. the Aces in her first start, the rookie has cooled down dramatically, scoring nine and 11 points in her last two. As a starter, Fudd is handling just a 14.3% usage rate, which is a notable drop from the 16.4% rate she saw as a reserve.
Fudd is shooting a strong 56% from the field this season, but she isn’t going to see a ton of looks playing alongside Paige Bueckers, Jessica Sheppard and Arike Ogunbowale in the first unit. Fudd also is in the worst possible spot tonight vs. the Lynx, who comfortably lead the WNBA in defensive rating this season. Minnesota owns a 97.1 defensive rating while the Dream rank second at 100.3. Opponents are shooting a league-worst 37.9% vs. the Lynx, and 13.5 points is too high a line for Fudd in this difficult matchup.
Reese has been playing well, and she’ll be out for revenge tonight, as she is going against her former team, the Sky. Reese is leading the WNBA with 11.7 rebounds per game and a 41.2% rebound rate this season. The 24-year-old just grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds vs. the Mystics this past Saturday, and Reese has finished with at least 12 rebounds in three of her last four starts.
Not only will Reese be extra motivated vs. the Sky, but Chicago ranks second in pace, and the club is allowing the most rebounds per game this season (40.1). Reese should dominate the glass and cruise past 11.5 rebounds.
Opposite of Reese, Diggins could struggle vs. the Dream. Atlanta ranks second in defensive rating and third-to-last in pace this season. The Sky’s 78.5-point implied team total on DraftKings Sportsbook is the second-lowest on the slate, and Diggins hasn’t been efficient in her first season with Chicago.
The veteran is averaging 14.4 PPG on 39% shooting, which are her worst averages in both categories since 2016. Diggins is also seeing a 22.9% usage rate, which is her lowest since her rookie season in 2013. Diggins is coming off an ugly seven-point outing vs. the Tempo on Sunday – who rank 12th in defensive rating – and she has stayed under 15.5 points in 7-of-10 games this season.
