Cooper Albers predicts which Love Island USA couples will survive Casa Amor.
This week on Love Island USA, there’s really just one question on the minds of viewers: which couples will survive Casa Amor?
There are five remaining couples — excluding singles Jen and Caleb — at risk of collapsing after Casa, which runs through Friday’s episode. With all the buzz surrounding where the drama leads next, let’s dive into my predictions for which couples are built to endure the show’s ultimate relationship test.
Amid so much chaos, and no matter what KC says, one thing has become abundantly clear since the Great Separation: Trinity and Bryce are the strongest couple in the villa.
Bryce is completely miserable, treating a weekend getaway with scantily clad singles as if it were a ten-year prison sentence. Trinity, meanwhile, has embraced her Casa experience while remaining honest about her emotional ties to her original connection, going as far as to turn away the advances of bombshell Corey. There’s less than a one percent chance that either of these two returns from Casa with another person — let alone follow through with that decision.
Verdict: Absolutely
Aniya and KC did not leave for Casa on good terms. After admitting that he still wants to explore and that he would have given Sol another chance, the former told the latter to “do whatever you want.”
He has done just that.
Evoking shades of LeBron James in Toronto, KC has been a man on a mission at Casa. He has pursued several connections, primarily clicking with Tierra, while confessing to the other guys that he and Aniya have “nothing in common.” Likewise, Aniya has formed an intimate bond with the kind-hearted Carl, who has provided the reassurance she’s long been longing for. While still holding onto some lingering emotions for KC, it seems likely that she, like her past connection, will be bringing someone back from Casa.
Verdict: No
The fate of this couple was sealed within the first 10 minutes of Casa Amor. Corbin — unaware that Kenzie, along with all the other girls, was watching on a giant screen back at the villa — told his buddies, “I’m going back with somebody different.”
He later declared that the Casa girls are “better” than the villa girls and admitted that he’s no longer thinking about his original connection, shifting his focus to Parmida. Kenzie, meanwhile, has fully embraced her Casa experience, gravitating towards Dylan and ensuring that their past pairing resembles her favorite dance move: split(s).
Verdict: Absolutely Not
Considering that Zach’s current connection has reportedly already booked a one-way ticket out of Fiji, he’ll likely return from Casa as a single man. Barring any major shakeup, that leaves the ball firmly in Kayda’s court.
Kayda has embraced her Casa experience while cautiously refraining from jumping into anything too quickly. But her decision to pump the brakes with Chay admittedly stemmed from a fear that Zach wasn’t kissing anyone either. Given their intimate stay in the elusive hideaway, there’s a real chance that Kayda and Zach hold strong.
Verdict: Yes
It’s shocking that Melanie and Sincere have made it this far. But here’s the truth: they’re probably sticking around until the final bell. Sincere continues to deceive, manipulate, and lead on multiple women in the villa, and he finds himself repeating the cycle with Amora at Casa Amor. However, unlike with Sol, it seems that his heart isn’t truly in it this time. He appears ready to “settle down” and play his usual mind games with his one and only.
Meanwhile, Melanie’s feelings for Sincere haven’t wavered, despite several others — most recently, Corey — advising her that he’s worse than she’s been led to believe. It seems that, against all odds, Season Eight’s most toxic pairing is built to last.
Verdict: Somehow, Love Finds a Way
