This skill set is especially valuable heading into Game 7, with both Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell sidelined by injury. There is a massive workload being asked of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and he has struggled in this series partially because of this. Oklahoma City needs to be more creative in finding better ways to generate more clean looks, and Hartenstein is one of the more reliable relief valves on the table.

Across the regular season, Hartenstein averaged 3.5 assists per game, and averaged 3.8 assists last season. He tallied four or more assists in 17 of his 47 regular-season games.
