The Pittsburgh Pirates duel the Los Angeles Dodgers at 6:40 p.m. ET, but there’s a change on the lineup card with just an hour to go before first pitch.
Pirates slugger Oneil Cruz has been scratched from Tuesday’s lineup due to a hand injury and lower extremity tightness.
Jake Mangum will play centerfield in his place.
The Pirates announce a lineup change. Oneil Cruz scratched, so Jake Mangum will play CF and bat 7th. Davis Wendzel, who is playing 1B, will now bat 6th.

Pirates senior director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk said Cruz is dealing with a hand injury and lower extremity tightness.
Cruz, 27 years old, is in the midst of a career-best campaign. He’s slashing .264/.350/.472 for an .822 OPS, tallying 66 hits with 45 runs, 44 RBI and 14 homers. Of those stats, he’s second on the team in knocks, first in RBI and runs, and second in home runs as well.
The Pirates are 34-32 prior to tonight’s game against the Dodgers. They’re third in the NL Central as things stand.
