Are you ready for more Stanley Cup Playoffs action? We sure are! On Saturday, there are two games in the conference semifinal round as the first begins at 6 p.m. ET. The Carolina Hurricanes are still undefeated this postseason and have a chance to bounce the Philadelphia Flyers out of the bracket if all goes right. Later on at 9 p.m. ET, the Minnesota Wild try to avoid going down 3-0 in the series against the Colorado Avalanche, this time playing on their own home ice up north.
We’ve cashed one of these picks on four of our last five tries, so we’re looking towards tonight’s schedule for the best anytime goal scorer picks on DraftKings Sportsbook. Follow along for betting insights, predictions and best bets for who’ll find the back of the net this evening.

Last time out, we cashed a Nikolaj Ehlers goal. Today, we’re going for another Carolina skater and taking Andrei Svechnikov to notch his second of the postseason. It’s admittedly surprising it took the guy until the seventh playoff game to light the lamp for the first time for a couple of reasons. For starters, he scored 31 goals in the regular season and shot a career-best 15.3% on his attempts to get to that tally, which was also a career high. The other reason it’s surprising he has just one playoff goal on this run is because he’s taken 23 shots, good for an average of over three per game. The shot volume is there; the finishing just hasn’t been at just 4.3%. That mark should see some positive regression, and after all, he scored eight goals during the postseason last year. I like Svechnikov to net another goal after finally breaking the ice last game.
The Avalanche have an embarrassment of riches in terms of offensive weapons. Martin Necas is one of them, and it’s wild to think that his seven points and PPG pace still feel like it’s been a quiet postseason. Much like Svechnikov, it took him several games to finally find the back of the net but got his first goal of the playoffs in his most recent outing. Necas has 18 shots on goal, second most of any Avs player, for an average of three per game. He’s shooting only 5.6% on those attempts, which is far below his 18.4% clip from the regular season when he scored 38 goals. Playing alongside guys like Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar makes life much easier, so watch for Necas to pot another one on Saturday. He’s bound to start scoring more given his role as a finisher for this Colorado roster.
