Best anytime goal scorer picks for Wednesday 5/6/26

Alex Tuch Anytime Goalscorer (+180)

Tuch has scored four times in six postseason games thus far, and he has scored in two of his last three home meetings against the Canadiens. Although he is 29 years old, Tuch remains one of Buffalo’s veterans with playoff experience under his belt, and he’ll need to show up tonight in Game 1 in front of the home crowd. Going from a slow-paced Bruins team in the first round to a fast and young Canadiens team in the second round will likely be a rough transition for the Sabres. Jakub Dobes was rather elite in the first round for Montreal, but Tuch has simply been in goalscoring mode, especially since he scored in four of the final five regular-season games.

Leo Carlsson Anytime Goalscorer (+220)

Carlsson is more of a playmaker than a goalscorer, but the shooting volume has been hard to ignore. He has averaged 4.6 shots and 6.4 shot attempts per game this postseason, and he has scored in three of seven games thus far. It feels like the 21-year-old is bound for some puck luck to go his way soon, too, considering he ranks fifth in xGoals per 60 among all skaters this postseason. Plus, I’d expect the Ducks to come out a bit more aggressive after netting just one goal in Game 1. Carter Hart has looked comfortable in his past two starts, but he is still very average, and this Ducks team has scored the second-most goals this postseason.
