A breakdown of the premiere date, full episode drop, cast and what to expect from the fourth season of Netflix’s reality dating competition.
Perfect Match is back — and Season 4 is pulling contestants from across reality TV into one villa for what might be the most chaotic mix yet.
The new season premieres May 13 on Netflix, kicking off with a five-episode drop. Here’s the full release schedule, cast and what to know before things get messy.
Perfect Match is a reality dating show hosted by Love Is Blind‘s Nick Lachey where singles from across reality TV pair up, compete in challenges designed to test their compatibility and have the chance to “wreak havoc on other couples or set themselves up on a date with a cute newbie.”
A competition win gives couples the chance to head to the Boardroom and play matchmaker … or match breaker. Contestants can do this by bringing in new singles and sending them on a date with a member of an existing couple — either with good intentions or in a bid to sow chaos and weaken competing couples. One member of the winning couple could even choose to set themselves up with one of the new singles if they’re looking to play the field a bit.
Netflix notes that Season 4 will feature personalities from its stable of shows, including Love Is Blind, Temptation Island and new entry Age of Attraction, as well as other familiar faces from across the dial.
The winners receive an all-expenses paid “pre-honeymoon,” assuming that they can stay together long enough to take the trip — sorry, Lucy and Daniel! That being said, you don’t always have to be the “winners” to win the season. Season 3 runner-ups Ollie Sutherland of Love Is Blind UK and AD Smith of Love Is Blind not only remained together after leaving the villa, but they have since gotten engaged and had their first child.
“There’s really no better feeling than falling in love.”
That’s the goal for the singles looking for love in Season 4. But if you thought you knew the game, Nick Lachey says hold on — everything is about to change. From the footage in the trailer, it’s clear that some of the contestants are willing to do whatever it takes to get what they want.
That begs the question: Who is ready to find their Perfect Match.
Perfect Match will feature 20 singles from across reality TV looking for true love and for the chance to win a fabulous vacation to celebrate their new coupling. Here are the singles:
As always, Perfect Match leans heavily on reality TV veterans. You’ve got multiple Too Hot to Handle alumni as well as Love Is Blind contestants from different seasons and regions. Some standouts to watch include:
The bottom line is these aren’t first-time reality contestants. They know how the game works, and more importantly, how to stay on our TV screens.
