Bill Yin breaks down the opening odds for the FIFA 2026 World Cup Group I match between Norway and France.
Norway and France both opened the 2026 FIFA World Cup with wins, setting up a potential Group I decider in their final group-stage match.
Norway started its tournament with a 4-1 win over Iraq, with Erling Haaland scoring twice in the country’s first World Cup match in 28 years. France also opened with three points, beating Senegal 3-1 behind two goals from Kylian Mbappé and another from Bradley Barcola.
Norway and France will meet Friday, June 26 at 3 p.m. ET at Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. DraftKings Sportsbook has odds for the Group I matchup.
France is favored on DraftKings Sportsbook, sitting at -124 on the 90-minute Moneyline. Norway is +350 to pull off the upset, while the draw is listed at +290.
The total is set at 2.5 goals, with the over priced at -130 and the under at +110. France has the deeper squad and more ways to control the match, but Norway’s opener showed how dangerous it can be when Haaland gets service in the final third.
France can use this match to confirm its place at the top of Group I, while Norway has a chance to make a major statement against one of the tournament favorites. Both teams looked dangerous in their openers, which gives this matchup a little more juice than the average final group-stage game.
