Alex Hunter details his top Alex Caruso player prop bet on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 6 between the Thunder and Spurs.
The Western Conference Finals continue Thursday with Game 6 in San Antonio. The Thunder lead this series 3-2 and can advance to the NBA Finals with a win. The Spurs are 3.5-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total set at 218.5 points.
Let’s dive into my favorite Alex Caruso player prop for Thursday’s contest.
Caruso has been a massive factor in the Western Conference Finals. The veteran guard has finished with at least 19 combined points, rebounds, and assists (PRA) in four of five games against the Spurs, highlighted by a 31-point outburst in Game 1. He’s logging 24.6 minutes per game this series, while shooting an incredibly efficient 56.8% from the field and 58.1% from beyond the arc.
For Game 6, Ajay Mitchell (calf) remains sidelined, and Jalen Williams (hamstring) is questionable. Even if Williams returns, Caruso should still see close to 25 minutes as he’s comfortably leading the Thunder in plus/minus during the Conference Finals.
The Spurs have a stout defense, ranking second in defensive rating this postseason, but Caruso has excelled in this matchup for the majority of the series. With Oklahoma City having a chance to punch its ticket to the NBA Finals, Caruso should rise to the occasion and surpass this modest 15.5 PRA line.
