Alex Hunter dives into Wednesday’s four-game WNBA slate to find you three players you need to have in your DraftKings lineups.
Wednesday delivers a four-game WNBA slate. Below, I have featured three of my favorite DFS targets on DraftKings for this slate.

Clark is unavoidable tonight. The guard has scored 40+ FPTS in four of her last six, most recently with 41.2 FPTS vs. the Mercury on Monday, who she will face again tonight. Phoenix has been soft on defense this season, ranking 11th in defensive rating, and no team in the league is allowing more made three-pointers than the Mercury (9.7).
The Fever’s 92.5-point implied team total on DraftKings Sportsbook is the highest on the slate and Clark should top 40 FPTS for the third game in a row. The superstar is generating 1.3 FPTS per minute with a 30.2% usage rate this season, which ranks third in the WNBA.
With Monique Akoa Makani (hamstring) out for the last two, Ayayi has seen an expanded role off the bench and taken full advantage, scoring 34 FPTS vs. the Storm and 20.2 FPTS vs. the Fever, who she meets again tonight. Over this two-game stretch, Ayayi is logging 21.1 minutes per game and handling a 21% usage rate.
Not only will Makani remain out tonight, but Natasha Mack (foot) will be joining her on the sidelines, likely resulting in an even larger role for Ayayi. Around 25 minutes is a fair projection and this is a plus matchup, as the Fever lead the WNBA in pace this season. Ayayi has a ceiling around 30 FPTS and is very underpriced at just $5,000.
Canada’s matchup vs. the Valkyries isn’t ideal with Golden State ranking third in defensive rating, but she is playing great right now and just too cheap for her form. In her last four, Canada has finished with 30.2, 36, 48.2 and 38 FPTS.
Over this stretch, Canada has produced multiple defensive stats in every game, she is shooting 45.7% from the field and she has finished with 9+ assists in 3-of-4 games. Canada’s 37.6% assist rate this season leads the Dream and is a career-high for the 30-year-old. Canada is supplying 1.0 FPTS per minute and she is a safe investment for 30+ FPTS tonight.
