There will be two games on the slate tonight, both tipping off the first game of the second round of the NBA Playoffs. The Knicks will host the 76ers at 8 PM EST. The Timberwolves will visit the Spurs at 9:30 PM EST.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
I’ll eat my shoe if Embiid sits out tonight in Game 1 against the Knicks. After a grueling seven game series against the Celtics, the Sixers came out on top over the weekend, and The Process was a huge part of that long-awaited victory over Boston, putting up 34 points and 12 rebounds to close them out. Embiid is still clearly only 70% of his MVP-self and could possibly never return to that level of play again, but even in his current state, he’s an absolute terror for defenses to figure out. He’ll figure to post massive usage numbers again tonight if he suits up against the Knicks, and he’s an excellent shout for scoring More than 26.5 points, as he’s cleared 30 points in two out of his last four games.
In four games against the Celtics, Embiid averaged 28 PPG, nine RPG, and 7 APG while shooting 44% from the field and playing 36.5 MPG.

Maxey had a monstrous season buoying this Sixers team, keeping them afloat while Paul George and Joel Embiid slipped in and out of the lineup. And he’s continued to be a consistent offensive threat in the postseason, averaging 26.9 PPG in seven games against the Celtics while shooting 41.8% from three. He’s looked like one of the most electric scorers in the league and will once again handle massive minutes and usage in this second round against the Knicks. Last season, Maxey averaged 29.8 PPG and 6.8 APG against the Knicks on 47.8% shooting from the field. With or without Embiid, he’ll get a ton of shots tonight and should be in an excellent spot to smash this 25.5 mark.

Anunoby isn’t known for pumping out huge assist numbers, but he’s certainly better than 1.5. He averaged only 1.2 APG in six games against the Hawks, but he averaged 2.2 APG this season overall through 67 games, and also averaged 2.2 last season across 74 games. So while in the short term his assist numbers may look low, he’s easily capable of surpassing 1.5, especially given his increased minutes played in the postseason.
The head-to-head situation with Philly has also been favorable this season. He’s averaged 3.7 APG against them in the regular season across three meetings, and in his last five overall he’s averaging 2.8 APG. The Sixers allowed 27.2 opponent APG (19th) this season.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of at least two players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
