Cubs right-hander Edward Cabrera left Wednesday’s game against the Brewers with a right middle-finger blister, the club announced. He was replaced by Trent Thornton in the top of the fourth inning after his first pitch of the frame.

Before exiting, Cabrera allowed one earned run on four hits with two walks and two strikeouts. He threw 61 pitches, 32 for strikes.

The Brewers lead 4–0 after four innings.

Since Cabrera faced more than five batters, he is not eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
