When Do Perfect Match Season 4 Episodes 6 & 7 Come Out On Netflix? Release Date and How to Watch
Andy Silva·2026-05-20·via DraftKings Network
After a chaotic first five episodes, the Netflix dating series heads into its next two-episode drop as new singles test the villa’s strongest connections.
After an initial five-episode drop filled with lover boys and girls and irrational confidence, Perfect Match Season 4 is in full swing.
The next two episodes drop on Wednesday, May 20, with the singles testing their connections in the Perfect Match equivalent of Love Island USA‘s Casa Amor twist. Will wandering eyes spell doom for what seemed like solid pairings? Or will the singles find their true perfect match? Check out my thoughts below.
Perfect Match Episodes 6 & 7 Sneak Peek
Nick Lachey threw a curveball to all the singles in Episode 5, separating them from their matches and sending them to meet singles not currently in the villa. That had more impact on the women’s side, where there were three guys who had yet to appear, including Temptation Island alum Hashim. Despite seeming to be locked in, Jimmy P. left the door open with Ally to explore other connections, which could cost him.
Perfect Match Episodes 1-5 Observations
(Warning: Spoilers ahead.)
Maybe it’s a generation divide, I am an elder Millennial after all, but I found quite a few of this season’s contestants fairly insufferable. The sexual innuendo felt forced and I found I was rooting for few of the contestants and/or couples. At the start I felt like Nick was the weakest of the original guys, but to my surprise he did fairly well for himself before it all fell apart. Mackenzie was fairly benign, but she appeared to be flailing from the beginning, so it was no surprise to me when she left the villa early. It should be noted both could return.
The strongest couple of the early season seemed to be DeMari and Marissa. They hit it off early and then dominated the first two compatibility competitions, giving them all the power in the Boardroom. They initially enjoyed that power, especially the opportunity to play puppeteer. However, bringing in three women in their second trip to the Boardroom, including DeMari’s friend Katherine, opens Pandora’s Box. DeMari tries to compliment her, stating she makes him feel like he can be himself. She, however, takes it as a negative to his confusion thanks to her rejection sensitivity disorder. They stay matched, but DeMari is visibly upset and now is more open to other possibilities than he was earlier in the season. And the icing on the cake is that his ex Bri, who he did not want to bring into the villa, is among the five singles the men meet in Episode 5 and the teaser for the next set of episodes suggests the door isn’t necessarily closed on their romance. On the other side, Marissa seems intrigued by Weston, as evidenced by their make out session. So, DeMari and Marissa went from smooth sailing to a bumpy road ahead.
The other couples have been more fluid, with the exception of Jimmy P. and Ally. They didn’t seem like the strongest match at the start, but they seemed to be growing as a pairing through the initial five-episode drop. Despite temptation on both sides — Ally with Dave and Jimmy with Kassy — they reaffirm their commitment to each other and seem to close things off, taking their relationship physical. However, the opportunity to meet new singles leads Jimmy to kind of re-open things a bit, to Ally’s consternation. That could come back to bite him, as Ally has some “little sparks” fly with Hashim. Just when the Jimmy-Ally pairing seemed rock solid, cracks began to show and we’ll have to wait and see if their relationship crumbles.
Remember when I talked before about finding some of these contestants insufferable? Yeah, that’s definitely the case with Jimmy S. He refers to himself as being very unserious, and it definitely feels like an apt description after this first set of episodes. Despite my antipathy for Jimmy S., however, he seems to be having high impact with the ladies. Not only does he match with Alison, taking her from Yamen, but he’s also got Mackenzie and Katherine interested in him. Katherine chooses Jimmy S. for a date upon entering the villa and they seem to hit it off, with Katherine feeling good that he’s going to pick her. However, Jimmy S. ultimately stays matched with Alison, saying she feels like home. This leaves Katherine feeling lied to and gaslit. But the first drop concludes with Jimmy S. and Alison seemingly committed to their pairing, with Alison outright not trying at Truth or Dare, other opinions be damned. They could be climbing the ranks, rising up as other couples come crashing down.
I mentioned Yamen above, and I was kind of surprised to see him not as popular as I figured he would be with the ladies. Yes, I found his talking heads fairly corny, but I figured he’d have no problems matching up. But, he flails a little bit both with Alison and before trying to turn his friendship with Natalie into something more. There seemed to be no drama with Yamen and Natalie, and honestly they kind of faded into the background for a while. But when it comes to meeting the new singles, Yamen is taken with Bri — as DeMari had previously predicted — and Natalie is intrigued by Weston. All that has me feeling like these two might end up back in the friend zone sooner rather than later.
Dave came in and was immediately a hot commodity. He talked to a number of the women and seemingly was sparking a connection with Ally (much to Jimmy P.’s dismay). However, he chose to take Mackenzie on a date, which came at a good time for her as Kayla at the same time was choosing her match Chris to go on a date. Kayla and Chris would match up for a cup of coffee before being booted from the villa by the rest of the cast, leaving Mackenzie to try to salvage what felt like a lackluster, awkward date with Dave. He is intrigued enough to match with her and keep her in the villa so he can try to get her to come out of her shell more, but ultimately he finds more spark with Sophie. That leaves Mackenzie to attempt to shoot her shot with Jimmy S., aka the swaggiest man she has ever seen, but it’s too little too late on that front. Meanwhile, Sophie sees some red flags with Dave but is willing to roll with it because he makes her feel wanted. But, Sophie is clearly open to finding new connections with the other singles in Episode 5, so I don’t know how solid the foundation is in their relationship.
What is Perfect Match?
Perfect Match is a reality dating show hosted by Love Is Blind‘s Nick Lachey where singles from across reality TV pair up, compete in challenges designed to test their compatibility and have the chance to “wreak havoc on other couples or set themselves up on a date with a cute newbie.”
A competition win gives couples the chance to head to the Boardroom and play matchmaker … or match breaker. Contestants can do this by bringing in new singles and sending them on a date with a member of an existing couple — either with good intentions or in a bid to sow chaos and weaken competing couples. One member of the winning couple could even choose to set themselves up with one of the new singles if they’re looking to play the field a bit.
Netflix notes that Season 4 will feature personalities from its stable of shows, including Love Is Blind, Temptation Island and new entry Age of Attraction, as well as other familiar faces from across the dial.
The winners receive an all-expenses paid “pre-honeymoon,” assuming that they can stay together long enough to take the trip — sorry, Lucy and Daniel! That being said, you don’t always have to be the “winners” to win the season. Season 3 runner-ups Ollie Sutherland of Love Is Blind UK and AD Smith of Love Is Blind not only remained together after leaving the villa, but they have since gotten engaged and had their first child.
