Euphoria’s third season continues this on Sunday with its fourth episode, which follows the massive fallout after Nate’s and Cassie’s wedding.
Euphoria Episode 4 arrives with the season coming off its messiest hour yet. Episode 3, “The Ballad of Paladin,” turned Nate and Cassie’s wedding into a disaster piece: their overbuilt suburban fantasy collapsed when Naz confronted Nate over his $550,000 debt, then escalated the threat by attacking him and cutting off his pinky toe. Cassie, who spent the episode trying to turn the wedding into proof that her life had finally stabilized, ended the night tied to Nate’s financial wreckage and physical violence instead.
Rue’s story is just as specific and unstable. Episode 3 pushed her deeper into Alamo’s orbit, with a revenge move against Laurie involving a poisoned parrot and a DEA encounter that points toward a possible informant thread. Jules, meanwhile, has been pulled into a dangerous sugar-baby arrangement with Ellis, then dragged back into the old emotional weather around Rue at the wedding.
Episode 4 is titled “Kitty Likes to Dance” and airs Sunday, May 3 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, streaming the same night on HBO Max.
The episode has to deal with the wedding fallout, Nate’s debt problem, Cassie’s new exposure, Rue’s criminal entanglement, and whether Jules’ storyline keeps moving toward danger rather than escape.
The premiere of Euphoria drops on Sunday, May 3 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with the episode streaming the same night on HBO Max. Episodes will roll out weekly, returning the show to its usual Sunday-night, event-TV slot.
Season 3 has eight episodes total. HBO is sticking with its regular weekly release schedule.
The core cast returns, led by Zendaya as Rue Bennett, alongside Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow. Returning ensemble players include Eric Dane and Martha Kelly, with additional cast members like Chloe Cherry and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje rounding out the season.
