Tough break for the Dallas Wings and their fans today. Superstar guard Paige Bueckers has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Portland Fire with an ankle injury.

Bueckers was initially listed as questionable earlier in the afternoon. She injured her ankle on Thursday against the Mercury, briefly limping to the locker room. Since she returned to the game and finished out their win, the hope was that there would be no issue — but the Wings appear to be playing it safe. This will be Bueckers’ first missed game of the season.

Still, the Wings are 3.5-point road favorites with -175 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total set at 168.5 points.
