Brendan O’Sullivan provides the opening odds for the Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars 2026 Week 1 NFL matchup.
Football is only a few months away, and regular season schedule release day is a checkpoint toward the glorious Sunday watch parties with friends and families. Week 1 is unique in that the season kicks off with a Wednesday night Super Bowl rematch.
Sunday, however, features a typical full slate. The Browns and Jaguars will be one of the eight 1 p.m. ET games. Opening odds for this matchup are live, and it’s never too early to take a look.
Here are the opening odds of Browns vs. Jaguars on DraftKings Sportsbook for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL regular season.
The Jaguars open as seven-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Browns are +230 underdogs, with the total set at 40.5.

Will the Browns ever be good? They got some production from rookies Shedeur Sanders and Quinshon Judkins, but the future is still bleak. At least Myles Garrett is under contract through 2030. He’s arguably the best defensive player in the league, which is a good starting point for a rebuilding team. The problem is Cleveland has been rebuilding for numerous years.
The Jaguars broke through with a 13-4 record in 2025, but they aren’t quite top-tier contenders yet. This season is big for Trevor Lawrence as he attempts to prove the team can survive without running back Travis Etienne Jr. It’ll also be interesting to watch Travis Hunter’s involvement on both sides of the ball.
