For the second major of the season, we head to Aronimink Golf Club (par 70, 7,394 yards, bentgrass greens) in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, for the 2026 PGA Championship. This is the first time Aronimink has hosted the PGA Championship since 1962. More recently, Aronimink hosted the AT&T National in 2010 and 2011, and the BMW Championship in 2018. Keegan Bradley (-20) won the 2018 BMW Championship by defeating Justin Rose in a playoff. Rose also won the 2010 AT&T National at Aronimink. There will be 156 players competing at the PGA Championship this week and there will be a top-70 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Aronimink is a long and challenging Donald Ross-designed course that features thick rough, narrow fairways, complex, large greens, a whopping 176 bunkers and water in play on three holes. Avoiding the penalizing rough and being in the right spots in the fairway is key at Aronimink, making strong drivers smart targets at this venue. Of the last three victors at Aronimink, two finished the event top-10 in SG OTT. The greens at Aronimink are one of the course’s biggest defenses. These putting surfaces are large, fast and very difficult to read, so having an excellent showing with your flat stick is a must if you want to win at Aronimink. The last three winners at this course have finished the tournament third, first and first in SGP.

Aronimink is a traditional par 70 that presents 12 par fours, four par threes and two par fives. Per usual with this type of layout, scoring on the par fours is most vital at Aronimink, as the last three winners here have all finished the event top-five in par four scoring.

Rickie Fowler ($7,400) – After finishing T-8 at the RBC Heritage and T-9 at the Cadillac Championship, Fowler nearly secured his seventh PGA TOUR victory at the Truist Championship this past week, finishing runner-up to Kristoffer Reitan by two strokes. Fowler gained strokes in every major category at Quail Hollow, including 5.1 strokes with his putter, which ranked third among the star-studded field.

Fowler gained strokes on approach and with his flat stick at each of these last three tournaments, and he has shot under par in 10 of these past 12 rounds. Fowler has been one of the top putters on the PGA TOUR this season, ranking 12th in SGP, and he has performed well at Aronimink in the past, finishing MC, T-13 and T-8 in his three starts at the Ross creation. Playing his best golf in years, Fowler could produce a career-best finish at Aronimink this week and he is one of the top values available for this major.

Keegan Bradley ($7,400) – Bradley won the 2018 BMW Championship at Aronimink and he carded a pair of 6-under 64s that week. Eight years later, Bradley returns to the par 70 in rock-solid form. The veteran has made six cuts in a row with three top-25 finishes during this span. Bradley just finished T-19 at the Truist Championship last week and he closed with a 4-under 67 in the final round.

Bradley gained strokes on approach and with his putter at Quail Hollow, and he ranks 23rd in total driving this season. The PGA Championship is also easily Bradley’s favorite major. The 39-year-old has made 13-of-15 cuts with six top-20 finishes at this tournament, most notably with a win in his debut in 2011 and a T-8 at last year’s PGA Championship.

Alex Smalley ($6,100) – Smalley has finished inside the top-30 in two of his three starts at the PGA Championship and the 29-year-old is in the midst of an excellent season on the PGA TOUR. Smalley has only missed one cut in 13 starts and he has carded five consecutive top-25 finishes entering this major.

Smalley just finished T-17 at the Truist Championship last week and after opening the Signature Event with a 3-over 74, he shot under par in his final three rounds at Quail Hollow, including a final round 5-under 66. Smalley ranks 12th in total strokes gained when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds and he is extremely underpriced for his awesome form.
