Ryan Wohl breaks down his best bet for Tommy Gantt vs. Artur Minev at tonight’s UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.
After earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in September 2025, Tommy Gantt is set to make his UFC debut against Artur Minev, who is also fighting in the UFC for the first time. Both fighters are undefeated: Gantt is 11-0, while Minev is 7-0. The Prelims for this event begin at 5:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.
Check out my best bet for Tommy Gantt vs. Artur Minev below.
Gantt has won 10 of his 11 MMA fights by knockout or submission and appears to have a bright future in the UFC. He only began his MMA career in April 2024, making this his 12th fight in the last 25 months. In this contest, Gantt has a massive seven-inch reach advantage (76″ vs. 69″) and is two inches taller (5’11” vs. 5’9″).
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Gantt is a -180 favorite with Minev being the underdog at +150. The over/under is 2.5 rounds with the under at -135. With the big reach advantage, Gantt should be able to keep Minev at range while picking him apart. Gantt is a former collegiate wrestler, but he has displayed during his MMA career that he is a versatile fighter. I’m taking Gantt to win this contest by submission or knockout because his last five wins have come by finish.
