Xander Zayas defends his WBO and WBA Super Welterweight titles against Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis in one of the most anticipated fights in boxing. This fight is headlining tonight’s boxing card in Brooklyn, New York, at the Barclays Center.
It is extremely rare in the sport of boxing for two undefeated fighters in the prime of their careers to face off. Zayas, 23, is 23-0 with 13 knockouts, as Ennis’ record stands at 35-0 with 31 wins by knockout at 29 years old. Both fighters enter this contest with a supreme, unbreakable confidence that makes for such a fascinating showdown. Zayas is coming off a victory against Abass Baraou in January in his home country of Puerto Rico.
Ennis is a former IBF Welterweight Champion and looks to capture gold in a second division against Zayas. The great action doesn’t stop there as Emiliano Vargas takes on Bryce Mills in a Super Lightweight contest. Emiliano Vargas is the son of former champion Fernando Vargas. Vargas is 22 years old and enters this contest with an undefeated 17-0 record with 14 knockouts. His opponent, Bryce Mills, is 22-1 and is on a 16-fight winning streak since suffering his first loss. In this contest, Vargas is a -1400 favorite with Mills being a +700 underdog.
Ben Whittaker, Olympic Silver Medalist from the 2020 Tokyo Games, became one of the top rising stars in boxing since beginning his professional career. He is 11-0-1 with eight knockouts and has scored three consecutive finishes since having a draw against Liam Cameron in October 2024. Now Whittaker faces veteran Richard Rivera, who is 27-2 with 20 knockouts. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Whittaker is the favorite at -2000 while Rivera is a +900 underdog.
