The first round of the 2026 NHL Playoffs continues on Wednesday night, with three matchups spanning from 7:00 p.m. ET to 10:00 p.m. ET. Here are tonight’s matchups:

• Penguins at Flyers Game 3 – 7:00 p.m. ET (PHI up 2-0)
• Stars at Wild Game 3 – 9:30 p.m. ET (tied 1-1)
• Ducks at Oilers Game 2 – 10:00 p.m. ET (EDM up 1-0)

Best NHL player prop bets for Wednesday 4/22/26

Matt Boldy 4+ Shots on Goal (-105)

Boldy has cleared this line in both playoff games thus far, with eight shots in Game 1 and five shots in Game 2. The series has shifted to Minnesota for the next two games, and Boldy has cleared in five of his past seven home games. Plus, he has found success against the Stars in the past, clearing in each of his past eight outings against them. During the regular season, Boldy ranked 20th in 5v5 shots per 60 and 19th in 5v5 shot attempts per 60.

Evan Bouchard 3+ Shots on Goal (-120)

Bouchard logged zero shots in Game 1, but he had seven shot attempts. He had cleared this line in five of his previous seven meetings against the Ducks, too. Bouchard logged the most ice time of any player in Game 1, and he could see extended opportunities to get pucks on net on the power play. Anaheim ranked sixth in total penalty minutes during the regular season, and Bouchard plays on the Oilers’ lethal first power play unit. He was a cash cow for most of last postseason’s run, and defensemen tend to see even more opportunities from the point in the playoffs.
