Alex Hunter breaks down his top DraftKings NBA DFS targets and value plays for tonight’s slate on Wednesday, April 29.

The NBA Playoffs continue Wednesday with a three-game slate. DraftKings continues to offer huge contests for DFS players, and below, I break down some of my favorite NBA DFS options at each position for Wednesday’s NBA action.

Set your DraftKings fantasy basketball lineups here: NBA $333K Shootaround [$100K to 1st]

Guard

Stud

Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistons vs. Orlando Magic, $10,300

Tonight is win-or-go-home for the top-seeded Pistons, as they face a 3-1 series deficit vs. the Magic. Cunningham should barely leave the floor and is underpriced for the upside he brings in this situation. Cunningham has topped 50 FPTS in five of his seven matchups vs. Orlando this season, including a 74.25 FPTS outing back in November.

Cunningham leads Detroit with 1.5 FPTS per minute and a 30.9% usage rate, and he should do everything in his power to keep the Pistons’ season alive on his home floor. In his last seven home games, Cunningham has eclipsed 50 FPTS five times.

Other Options: Donovan Mitchell ($8,500), Amen Thompson ($8,200)

Value

Reed Sheppard, Houston Rockets at Los Angeles Lakers, $5,400

Sheppard is a core play with Kevin Durant (ankle) remaining out. Sheppard is generating 35.4 FPTS in 30 minutes per game with a 25% usage rate in the nine he has played with Durant inactive this season. Sheppard has scored at least 30 FPTS in all three of the games Durant has missed in this series vs. the Lakers, with the highlight being a 42 FPTS showing in Game 3.

Sheppard is producing 1.1 FPTS per minute with Durant off the floor this season and Sheppard is the No. 1 value on the slate at just $5,400.

Other Options: Anthony Black ($4,500, if Franz Wagner is out), Ja’Kobe Walter ($4,000)

Forward

Stud

Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors at Cleveland Cavaliers, $8,600

The Raptors head to Cleveland for a pivotal Game 5 with this series tied 2-2 and Barnes has found his groove in this matchup. In the last three games of this series, the forward has scored 43, 62.25 and 49.25 FPTS. Overall, Barnes has exceeded 40 FPTS in five of his seven matchups vs. the Cavaliers this season.

Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) missed all these games and will remain out for the rest of this series. With the guard sidelined this season, Barnes is leading Toronto with 42.7 FPTS per game (16 games).

Other Options: LeBron James ($9,500), Paolo Banchero ($8,900, if Wagner is out)

Value

Tari Eason, Houston Rockets at Los Angeles Lakers, $5,100

As Durant’s replacement starter for the Game 4 win on Sunday, Eason finished with 45 FPTS across 30 minutes. The great defender racked up six stocks and he shot 7-of-10 from the field. Eason is now amassing 30 FPTS in 29 minutes per game with Durant out this season (six games).

Eason should continue to start tonight for this win-or-go-home Game 5 and is an easy choice at only $5,100.

Other Options: Tobias Harris ($6,500), Rui Hachimura ($4,900)

Center

Stud

Alperen Sengun, Houston Rockets at Los Angeles Lakers, $8,800

Sengun erupted for 70.5 FPTS in Game 3 of this series with Durant sidelined and Sengun has a ceiling worth persuing in GPPs tonight with Durant out and the Rockets trying to stay alive.

Sengun has two performances over 60 FPTS in his six starts sans Durant and with the forward off the floor this season, Sengun is leading Houston with 1.4 FPTS per minute and a 28.9% usage rate, which is a 1.7 percentage point upgrade from his average.

Other Options: Jalen Duren ($7,200)

Value

Collin Murray-Boyles, Toronto Raptors at Cleveland Cavaliers, $5,500

While Murray-Boyles comes off the bench, the rookie has been operating as the Raptors’ primary center in this series. Murray-Boyles is logging 25.4 minutes per game, compared to just 17.4 for starting center Jakob Poeltl. With the expanded workload, Murray-Boyles has been awesome, scoring 24.5, 30.75, 38 and 36.5 FPTS.

Murray-Boyles was a big reason for the Raptors winning both games in Toronto to even up this series and he should continue to see big minutes tonight in Game 5. Murray-Boyles is leading Toronto with 1.3 FPTS per minute this postseason and he is an outstanding value play at only $5,500.

Other Options: Wendell Carter Jr. ($6,000), Jarrett Allen ($5,500), Jaxson Hayes ($3,500)
