Unreleased Beats headphones spotted again … with a custom...
Chance Miller · 2026-06-13 · via 9to5Mac

Beats is gearing up for a new product launch — and it loves dropping hints about what’s coming. As the World Cup kicks off this week, another soccer player has been seen wearing an unreleased pair of Beats headphones … but there’s a twist.

Last month, Spanish soccer player Lamine Yamal was spotted wearing an unreleased pair of Beats headphones. A few days later, Yamal was photographed again, but with two pairs of the unreleased Beats headphones in different colors.

Now, soccer player Kang-in Lee has also been photographed rocking these unreleased Beats headphones, but with a new twist.

In the photo above and video below, you can see that the neon yellow ear cups and headband on Lee’s headphones don’t match the otherwise white design. In Yamal’s photos, meanwhile, the ear cups and headband were color-matched to the rest of the headphones.

Could this be a sign that these upcoming Beats headphones will feature a customizable ear cup and headband design? Just speculation for now, but it sure looks like it.

There’s still no word on when Beats will actually announce and release these new headphones, but the company is certainly doing a good job of building the anticipation — especially as the World Cup kicks off this week.

It’s also not exactly clear where the new Beats headphones will fit in the company’s lineup. It currently sells two pairs of headphones: the on-ear Solo 4 and the over-ear Studio Pro.
