Apple CEO Tim Cook says the company will donate to relief efforts in Venezuela following the catastrophic earthquake that occurred earlier this week.
La Guaira was the hardest hit by multiple earthquakes on Wednesday night. Hundreds have died, and thousands have been injured.
Cook shared Apple’s plans to donate to the relief efforts on the ground in a social media post on Friday:
All those affected by the catastrophic earthquake in Venezuela are in our thoughts, and we thank the first responders for helping everyone in harm's way. Apple will be donating to relief efforts on the ground.
