AirPods Pro 3 are getting even better with iOS 27, order them today at their lowest price ever
Justin Kahn · 2026-06-14 · via 9to5Mac

While we are still slightly under a couple weeks out from Amazon’s massive summer sale event, the best Prime Day deal of the year might already be live right now – Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 have now dropped to the best price ever at $179 shipped

Plus, Apple just announced a bunch of new iOS 27 features for AirPods coming this year … so there’s no better time to jump in.

Prep for iOS 27 and get AirPods Pro 3 at a new all-time low

Whether you’re looking to score Dad some banger new AirPods this year, or just upgrade for yourself, Amazon is getting particularly aggressive with sale pricing on Apple’s latest and greatest personal listening experience, and this year the flagship AirPods deal is landing just ahead of Father’s Day and well ahead of the big 4-day summer Prime Day event later this month.

Regularly $249, AirPods Pro 3 are now sitting down at $179 shipped – that’s close to 30% off the list price and the best deal we have tracked online to date. This deal is also now sitting alongside the best price ever on the new AirPods Max 2 as well:

Whether or not this price makes it through the end of the month when Prime Day goes live or not is hard to say, but I’m not sure it even matters at a price like this – they couldn’t possibly go for all that much less than this. There was an equally solid chance Amazon just retained the previous $199 sale price for its Prime Day festivities this year, and there is a chance Amazon flexes on Best Buy and the gang even more even if just for a couple hours at some point, but anything much lower than the $179 we have right now is unlikely and going to be hard to lock down unless you’re glued to your screen for 4-straight days in the middle of the week later this month.

Previous to right now, the best price drop we had tracked online was the $199 offer we saw for Black Friday last year, the same discount a few times again this year, and a deal at $184 almost no one had a chance to even take advantage of – it was just Amazon price matching Verizon for a day or so and even we had a hard time getting through checkout with a set.

And with all of the new iOS 27 integrations announced at WWDC this week, what were already arguably the best earbuds on the planet are about to get even better.

One of the standouts is an all-new custom EQ feature. This will give you full control over personalizing how your AirPods Pro sound … customize the lows, the mids, the highs to your exact preferences. Also, with expanded GymKit support, the AirPods Pro 3 can now sync heart rate data through iPhone when connected to compatible gym equipment — no Apple Watch required.

Here’s even more iOS 27 news about AirPods:

You’ll want to stay locked to 9to5Toys this month – the early Prime Day deals are already flying on all things Apple, from the latest 2026 M5 MacBook releases, Apple Watch Series 11 (already up to $160 off), iPad, and more.
