The closure, which was revealed earlier this year, leaves St George as the only cash bank in Caringbah. There is also an ANZ Bank branch.
Long-standing Commonwealth Bank and Westpac are among previous branch casualties in Caringbah.
NAB said in a statement, "We've been looking closely at how customers use our NAB Caringbah, and we've noticed that more people are choosing the convenience of our NAB Miranda Branch, as well as our online and phone banking services".
The bank said staff would be relocated to other locations that customers used more frequently.
Figures released by the bank revealed that between January and December 2025, a total of 132 personal customers and 134 business customers were heavy users (12+ visits).
Another 681 personal personal customers and 203 business customers were regular users (3+ visits).
The total number was 1150.
"Approximately 58 per cent of our customers in Caringbah have only visited the branch once in the last year," NAB said.
"More than 53 per cent of customers are also using other locations.
"Eighty-three per cent of those registered for online banking (including mobile app) and/or telephone banking are active users."
