Seasoned actor Sam O'Sullivan will play the lead role of Roland Henning, and the cast is completed by Brisbane-born actress Georgina Symes.
The production forms a key part of Sutherland Pavilion's 50th Anniversary celebrations, themed around "creative homecoming" - honouring the artists, stories and creative voices that have emerged from the Sutherland Shire.
Rehearsals have commenced, and there will be a special Open Rehearsal on June 9 for local high school students.
Designed for Years 10 to 12, it offers a behind-the-scenes look at the rehearsal process and the development of a professional theatre production.
