A police statement on Thursday May 28 said they held concerns for her welfare, and inquiries had revealed she may be in the Waterfall area.
Waterfall RFS station became a command and communications centre for crews who began searching the area.
RFS Waterfall brigade said the missing student was found alive and well on Saturday afternoon "in the vicinity of the Waterfall".
"We thank local Waterfall volunteer members for dedicating their time providing facilities and resources supporting the operation," the brigade posted.
"Considering extremely rainy and gusty weather over the last few days, her condition was relatively well and she is expected for a full recovery.
