Music, art, craft and fun will be provided by the Engadine Autumn Festival, Oyster Bay Art and Crafts Festival and the Cronulla Jazz and Blues Festival.

The fun starts with Engadine Autumn Festival, a new two-day community festival will be held this weekend (Saturday and Sunday May 23 -24) from 9am until 3pm in Cooper Street Reserve.

Cambridge Markets, which organises the Gymea Lily Festival and Cronulla Markets, will run the event, which will feature live music, local dance groups and bands, rides, other children's activities and stalls.

"With open green space and a central location, the event offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere designed to bring the community together and enjoying the festival all weekend long," say organisers.

OYSTER BAY ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL

Since 1970, the Oyster Bay Art & Craft Festival has brought together students, families, and the local community for a weekend of fun, creativity, and community spirit - all while supporting valuable resources for Oyster Bay Public School.

This year's festival starts with a launch party on Friday May 29, and continues on Saturday and Sunday May 30-31 between 10am-4pm

The festival is held at the infants school site in Short Street, with a gold coin donation on entry.

The festival is described as "a vibrant weekend of art, creativity, food, rides and community spirit".

This year's feature artist is Sutherland Shire's Marnie McKnight.

"An internationally collected artist, Marnie burst onto the scene in 2016 with striking abstract works and has earned acclaim for her Light Reading series - a captivating exploration of the connection between art and literature," organisers said.

A finalist in the SBS Landscape Prize, Online Portrait Prize, and Bluethumb Art Prize, her work is frequently showcased in exhibitions and highly sought-after at sell-out art fairs."
