A development application (DA) has been lodged for the facility, to be named The Bay Golf.
The applicant is seeking approval for a change of use of a factory unit at 102-106 Bath Road, north of the intersection of Waratah Street, a few hundred metres from Bunnings.
"The facility is designed to operate seven days a week, with peak patronage expected to be around 30 patrons," the DA said.
There would be eight dedicated parking spaces.
"The development is designed to provide a high-quality recreational space for golf practice and entertainment within the existing industrial building envelope," the DA said.

The fit-out includes the construction of five golf simulator bays, each approximately 6m x 5m x 3.5m. A dedicated "2 Space Net" training area is located at the front of the unit.
"Equipment to be installed includes launch monitor sensors, projectors, PCs, game software, and impact screens.
"A new front desk and bar area will be installed near the unit entry.
"The kitchen/service area will be fitted with air fryers, a coffee machine, and commercial refrigeration.
"Dedicated retail space is provided for the sale of golf grips, gloves, and apparel."
Proposed operating hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am to 10pm, Friday to Saturday, 7am to 11pm, and Sunday, 7am to 9pm.
The business proposes to employ a total of six to eight staff.
