Australia's biggest Eurovision Live Broadcast Party returned to the Marana Auditorium, Hurstville on Sunday May 17 for a celebration of music, culture and community spirit.

Georges River hosted its seventh annual Live Broadcast Party where 400 fans gathered at 4.30 AM to watch DARA from Bulgaria win the Eurovision Grand Final with her song Bangaranga.

The Crowd cheered Australia's entrant, Delta Goodrem, who was awarded fourth place for her song Eclipse.

This year's contest was held in Vienna, Austria, marking 70 years of Eurovision.

To mark the occasion, the Marana Auditorium was turned into an Austrian Alpine Adventure.

Attendees joined in dancing, singing and a lively game of Eurovision Bingo. Guests were fuelled by an Austrian-inspired breakfast, featuring kransky hot dogs, along with free coffee and pretzels.

MC Jayden Rodrigues entertained the crowd all morning with dance breaks and best-dressed prizes. Many attendees wore fun costumes based on their favourite Eurovision artists, songs, and countries.

Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said the Eurovision Live Broadcast Party shows the strong community spirit in the Georges River area.

"Our Eurovision Live Broadcast Party shows how our community unites to enjoy cultural experiences," Councillor Borg said.

"The event brings people together through music and celebration in a way that is welcoming and inclusive.

"This event has turned into a key attraction for Georges River. It draws visitors from all over Australia each year and highlights our area," she said.
