Hello,
I performed a mysqldump and restore of a 5.7 database to a test server space.
It created approx 445 binlog.000xxx files that are 1 GB each.
Same thing happening via MySQL workbench restore.
Is this normal and can I purge them after migration ?
When I perform the command on the original server, SHOW BINARY LOGS; I receive "Error Code: 1381. You are not using binary logging"
I do not have any binary logging setup in my my.cnf.
I read a few with mysqlbinlog and it seems dates are recent.
Thank you.
