We’re excited to spotlight a major new academic initiative from our partners at Carnegie Mellon University’s Neuroscience Institute: the **Master’s in Neural Technologies (MiNT)** program. This interdisciplinary degree is designed to train the next generation of innovators at the intersection of neuroscience, engineering, AI, and robotics — a space where cutting-edge technology meets deep scientific understanding of the brain.

The MiNT program offers multiple pathways tailored to diverse career goals, including research-focused, applied industry, and accelerated options. Whether students aim to pursue Ph.D. studies or lead the development of neurotechnologies in industry settings, the curriculum integrates foundational neuroscience with advanced technical training and hands-on experience.

Tracks such as *Neural Interfaces, Robotics & Engineering* and *Neural Computation & AI* allow learners to specialize in hardware and systems design or computational and algorithmic methods, respectively, preparing graduates to drive innovation in brain-computer interfaces, intelligent prosthetics, and beyond.

This initiative reflects the broader momentum in neurotechnology education — a field rapidly expanding in response to breakthroughs in brain-machine interaction and machine learning. For students and professionals passionate about shaping the future of neuroscience and technology, MiNT represents a unique and timely opportunity right here in Pittsburgh.
