China’s national legislature, the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPCSC), is soliciting public comment on the following five bills through September 26, 2026.

For the draft revision to the Road Traffic Safety Law, the “职业” (Occupations) dropdown menu includes these non-default options: “日常以步行为主” (primarily walk for daily travel), “日常以非机动车出行为主” (primarily use non-motorized vehicles for daily travel), “日常以机动车出行为主” (primarily use motor vehicles for daily travel), “道路交通安全执法人员” (road traffic safety enforcement personnel), “从事道路交通运营人员” (personnel engaged in road transportation operations), and “其他” (Other).
