On March 14th, 2026, I visited Wildcat Canyon Regional Park for hiking and photography. During my trip, I was able to capture a few birds, including Red-Tailed Hawk, Carolina Wren, Violet-Green Swallow, Anna’s Hummingbird, California Towhee, and Wild Turkey, as well as various butterflies. What’s more interesting was that I captured a Carolina Wren having sand bathing, which is a behavior that birds use to clean their feathers and remove parasites.
