On April 18th, 2026, I visited Lake Chabot Regional Park for hiking and photography. There are interesting houses along the Ten Hills Trail, which have gardens, horses, sheep, and even toy train running on toy railway in the backyard. In addition, there are lots of birds that I captured, including Dark-Eyed Junco, Wild Turkey, Great Blue Heron, Lesser Goldfinch, Barn Swallow, Spotted Towhee, American Robin, Anna’s Hummingbird, and more. It is also butterfly season, and I was also able to capture a few butterflies, including Umber Skipper, Common Buckeye butterfly, Cabbage White, and Western Tiger Swallowtail, etc.
The first few hundreds of photographs were taken with excessive exposure compensation which I did not notice until later in the day. But it seems that the photograph quality was not significantly affected.
