29CM NIKE MOON SHOE SPECIAL SEEDING KIT DESIGN

This is 29CM's special seeding kit, created to mark the launch of a new product that carries on the heritage of the 'Moon Shoe' — a Nike archive piece and the origin of racing history. HEAZ focused on designing an experience that frames the Moon Shoe as a historical artifact. Built around the concept of a museum vault, the kit was designed to evoke the feeling of personally unearthing an archive piece. The acrylic case revealed by tearing open the three perforated edges captures the texture of a museum exhibit case, while the faint silhouette of the Moon Shoe glimpsed through it builds anticipation before the unboxing even begins. The sequence of putting on the enclosed gloves and carefully lifting the shoe out was designed to let the Moon Shoe's heritage and 29CM's curatorial sensibility come through naturally. The steel handle and archive label details further reinforce the kit's vault concept.
