Build smarter workflows with Notion and v0
Caroline CiaramitaroCommunity and Events Manager, Startups & v0 · 2025-12-15 · via Vercel News

Notion has become the trusted, connected workspace for teams. It's where your PRDs, specs, and project context live. v0 helps those teams turn ideas into dashboards, apps, and prototypes. Today, those workflows connect.

You can now securely connect v0 to your Notion workspace, so everything it builds is grounded in your existing docs and databases.

Wherever your team's knowledge lives in Notion, v0 can now build on top of it.

v0 now has access to your team's actual context. That means you can build things that would have taken longer to gather and piece together across tools.

By using Notion as an MCP tool inside v0, teams can now ship:

  • Dashboards and internal tools built from Notion databases

  • Product prototypes from PRDs written in Notion

  • Content workflows driven by briefs, calendars, and docs stored in Notion

  • Project and operations summaries generated from team trackers

  • Product demos grounded in customer insights and feedback you collect in Notion

  • Presentation slides based on outlines in Notion

The integration also supports write access, so v0 can contribute directly back to your workspace. Add weekly summaries or generated insights directly into project pages, update PRDs with implementation notes or design refinements after generating prototypes, or save generated content straight into the appropriate pages.

Your projects stay grounded in the information your team already maintains, so you spend less time switching tools and more time building.

We run a lot of events. Coordinating them meant juggling a form for submissions, a Notion database for event details, and separate spreadsheets for tracking reach and progress. It worked, but it was hard to scale. The fragmentation made it hard to stay consistent, move fast, and pull insights across everything we were hosting.

Now with the Notion integration, it’s one prompt:

I want to build a tracking dashboard for our v0

IRLs (events) using our Notion events database.

Give me metrics for:

- events completed (monthly, yearly, weekly)

- attendees engaged (monthly, yearly, weekly)

- forward-looking events (scheduled count +

weekly additions)

Build an intuitive dashboard I can send to my team

every Friday, with a clear summary of the top data my

team cares about. Use only events created after

November 11th.

v0 read directly from the Notion database and generated a working dashboard in seconds. From there, we iterated: refining metrics, improving the design, and adding summaries based on fields inside the database.

And with write access, v0 didn’t just generate the dashboard. It also wrote the weekly summary and key metrics directly back into our Notion events page.

What used to be a fragmented, multi-tool process became one repeatable workflow. All in a few prompts.

Enable the Notion MCP integration in your v0 project, connect your workspace, and ask v0 questions about your data. Not sure where to start? Check out our starter template and customize it with your own pages and databases.

We’d love to see what you create! Share your workflows with us on X, in the Vercel community, or submit it as a template for others to use.
