你能想到，今天，2021 年 10 月 5 日，已经是 Steve Jobs 离开的第 10 个年头了么？在这个时节里，一个 Apple 的实习生在离职前一天，为 Steve 发去了一封 thank you note。也许这个实习生觉得即便在没有 Steve 的这 10 年之中，他在学习和事业上做出的无数选择和努力，都或多或少地与 Steve，与 Apple 有关吧。

这已经是你离开的第 10 年了。今天是我实习的最后一天，我正在用我的 Apple 员工邮箱给你写这封邮件。

Apple 与我的缘分在 10 年前我刚刚接触 iPad，被它的多点触控屏幕的交互震撼的时候就开始了。在这些年中，Apple 的产品和精神左右了我许多的职业选择。而在这个二月，我有幸作为一个软件工程师加入了 Apple。现在的 Apple 已经是一家市值万亿级别的巨无霸，尽管如此，我们在这里的工作却依旧如一个初创团队一般。Apple 当然在工作中教会了我无数专业技术，但无论从现在的实习还是之前的交往来看，Apple 真正教会我的其实是摆脱永远用软件工程师视角审视世界的能力；是理解人，为客户做出更好的决定，讲出更好的故事的能力。这些东西时刻都在提醒我 Apple 依然是那一家站在科技与人文的十字路口的公司。他们让我相信，创造 Mac 的那群海盗曾在这里，不同凡想的灵魂曾在这里，你曾在这里。

今年的 4 月 1 日是 Apple 成立 45 周年。Tim 在他给员工的邮件中引用了你的话。“一路皆是风景，而我们将将启程“。尽管 Apple 不会是我们旅程中的全部，它已经是这一路上最为独特的站点了。感谢你创造这一切。

Dear Steve:

It has been ten years since you passed away. I’m writing this email using my corporate email address on the last day of my Apple internship.

The relationship between me and Apple started ten years ago when I was astonished by the magical user experience delivered by the multi-touch screen. During the past years, products and spirits delivered by Apple have shaped my career decisions, and in February this year, I onboarded Apple as a software engineer. Apple is now a giant, nevertheless, we worked as a start-up. Besides the technical skills, key qualifications Apple lectured me were to think outside the role of a developer, to understand people, to make good decisions for our clients, and to tell good stories. These facts are always reminding me that Apple is still standing at the crossroad of technology and liberal arts. They made me believe that pirates behind the Mac have been here, ones who think differently have been here, and, you have been here.

April 1st this year marks the 45th anniversary of Apple. Tim quoted your words in his email: "it’s been an amazing journey so far, yet we have barely begun”. Although Apple is not everything in our journey, it is a unique scene. Thank you for creating it.
