Developed by One Interactive Studio and published by Infini Fun, the JRPG-style idle battle training game "Fantasy Idle Expedition" will release a Demo version on Steam on May 8, 2026. This game cleverly blends a relaxed idle experience with a highly flexible team-building system. Simply assemble your party, and they will automatically fight and grow, allowing players to embark on an endless epic journey anytime amidst busy work or study.

In this pixel world called "Duelist Continent," you will recruit desired members from over 90 classic JRPG classes to form your own elite brigade. The game constructs a clear dual-line training loop: the front line features non-stop auto-map clearing and monster fighting day and night, while the rear involves vibrant camp construction—just use spare moments to manage the tavern, upgrade the blacksmith and shop, and build an unbreakable rear support for the front-line team.

[Casual Idle, Easy Leveling]

This is a casual idle game placed at the bottom of your desktop. After forming your team, simply tap the map to select a target, and leave the rest to these pixel characters. When you return from a day of work or study and switch back to the game, you'll be greeted by a full stash of loot: gold, equipment, enhancement materials, and follower reputation... Enjoy the purest sense of numerical growth and harvest satisfaction!

[Vast Classes, Unrestricted Combinations]

Even as an idle game, it retains a high degree of strategic freedom. The full version includes 7 main classes, 21 sub-classes, and extends to as many as 91 detailed classes, each with its own exclusive pixel battle animations and skill effects. In team composition, there's no forced "play by the rules or lose" numerical constraint. You can follow the classic "tank-healer-damage dealer" strategy for steady progress, form an all-mage team for explosive damage, or even assemble a pure warrior squad to brute-force your way through.

[Exclusive Legendary Gear, Deep Customization]

Complementing the high class freedom, the game offers a deep equipment customization system. While idling through stages, you can collect over 200 pieces of equipment, including weapons, armor, and accessories. Among these are more than 60 "exclusive legendary equipment" items that provide significant boosts to specific classes, allowing players to build tailored sets around core characters. Additionally, the game introduces an enchantment system, offering extensive customization beyond basic stats. You can target-enhance equipment based on your team's weaknesses or tactical preferences, moving beyond boring "passive waiting for drops," so both hardcore number-crunchers and collectors can find long-term training fun.

[Camp Building, Resource Management]

Beyond endless battles, the game incorporates a rear camp management mechanic. You need to manage the tavern to recruit heroes, upgrade the blacksmith to continuously produce powerful equipment, and entrust merchants to convert surplus loot into currency. Resources brought back from the front line are used to build the camp, and the camp's output directly boosts the team's combat power, forming a complete resource flow loop. This "rear base" system lets you enjoy the thrill of steady development and overall control while watching your little characters auto-fight.

Demo First Look: Exploring the Duelist Continent

The Demo version launching in May will support 15 languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, and will be available to players worldwide simultaneously. The trial version will first offer the following core experiences:

  • Four Classes, New Combat System: The trial version will initially unlock 4 classic main classes: Warrior, Mage, Priest, and Archer, along with 30 corresponding detailed sub-classes. Combined with the newly added "Combat System," it provides deep tactical combinations and customization space.

  • Expedition System, Background Idling: The newly implemented expedition mechanic allows you to send a secondary team to explore in the background while your main team idles on the desktop. Multi-threaded idling progresses simultaneously, easily yielding generous loot.

  • First 11 Levels, Initial Exploration: Starting from "Duelist Village" and battling through to the "Hexagon Arena," it includes idle stages and boss stages, offering an initial glimpse of the world-building and scene transitions.

  • Three Facilities, Fully Unlocked: The tavern, blacksmith, and shop are fully unlocked, allowing you to experience the rear base management loop of recruiting members, forging weapons, and trading resources.

  • Loot and Enchant, Dual Approach: Equipment drops and the enchantment system are both implemented in this Demo, letting you try your hand at crafting exclusive gear and truly feel the depth of customization behind the game.
