Toei Animation announced that the visual novel "乐园追放 -The Stellar Angel-" will be released in winter 2026, landing on Nintendo Switch/Steam platforms.

"乐园追放 -Expelled from Paradise-" is an animated film released in 2014, directed by 水岛精二, with screenplay by 虚渊玄, telling the story of an Earth investigation after humans are digitized and migrated to a virtual world. The sequel "乐园追放 心之共鸣" (楽園追放 心のレゾナンス) will be released on November 13, 2026, with the director, screenwriter, 斋藤将嗣 who was in charge of character design for the previous work, and composer NARASAKI reuniting again.

The visual novel "乐园追放 -The Stellar Angel-" will depict a story after "-Expelled from Paradise-", and details such as the main storyline, characters, and staff will be gradually revealed.
