Andrew Allemann · 2026-06-18 · via Domain Name Wire | Domain Name News

A shipbuilding company, a travel tours business, and an AI-powered car finder bought domain names.

End user domain sales over cash register drawer

Sedo’s top public sale this week was purchased by a shipbuilding and repair company. That’s a high-dollar business, so $89,000 was a small price to pay.

Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that were recently completed at Sedo. You can view previous lists like this here.

Balaena.com $89,000 – Balaena is a British shipbuilding and repair company. Other maritime companies use this name; it’s a genus of whale.

Chance.de €21,800 – Nonplusultra Brands GmbH is a “retail as a partner” company for consumer electronics brands.

Farfield.com $15,000 – The Whois record shows that Adam Shaw of Apeiron Quantum acquired this domain. Google searches suggest he is the CTO.

Travely.com $13,000 – Travely is a tour booking site. It operates on the matching .app domain.

Actec.eu €11,900 – Actec is a solar power and air conditioning company. It forwards this domain to actec-solar.de.
