Building a modern, cloud-native R&D platform
As the backbone of DMEGC’s innovation efforts, the R&D team develops and operates complex software systems that support daily business operations. Its technology stack includes container orchestration platforms and a full DevOps toolchain covering project management, code hosting, CI/CD, and quality analysis.

It integrates Lenovo TruScale infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offerings, achieving deep collaboration among resources, platforms, and R&D processes.

By replacing the traditional manual operation modes, enabling rapid verification, approval, and online release of new code, the platform effectively reduces human errors and significantly enhances software delivery efficiency and iteration speed.
“We test and validate all new code automatically, which helps us detect and fix defects earlier in the development process,” said Zhang Chunxiao, Basic Operation Manager at DMEGC. “This approach, known as shift-left, means we start testing from the very beginning rather than waiting until the end.
