As disasters strike at home and abroad, our teams respond quickly to help in Jesus’ Name. This worldwide effort is dependent on an army of people who partner with us by praying, serving, and giving.
Will you join us and be a Good Samaritan?
Our Mission
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing physical and spiritual aid to hurting people around the world.
Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray
“Now He was telling them… that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart.”
The most important way you can support our ministry is in prayer. We simply cannot go and serve in some of the world’s most difficult places without God’s blessing, direction, and protection. Would you consider joining the millions of people who are praying for our efforts?
Serve
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
How could you be the hands and feet of Jesus to others through Samaritan’s Purse?
Volunteer
Can you use a chainsaw? Tarp a roof? Pick up yard debris? Pack a shoebox? Host a child with a heart defect? With all the options, there’s bound to be a place where your gifts would fit!

“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”
From goats to hospital construction, gifts to Samaritan’s Purse are as varied as the givers. What matters is not how much you donate, but that you seek to honor God and bless others through your contribution. Would you consider giving to one of our specific projects or rallying others to do so?
“We need people of all stripes at Samaritan’s Purse. Consider how you could join us in serving others in need. Whether that takes us across the street or around the world, we do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
