Welcoming Google Chrome Enterprise Premium into the Citrix platform

Citrix UNITE, our annual sales kickoff event, is taking place this week in the historic city of New Orleans, LA, and coming out of the event we are excited to be making our own history with our good friends at Google. Today we have announced a deepened partnership with Google to integrate Chrome Enterprise Premium, the most trusted enterprise browser, into the Citrix® platform. 

This news with Google is yet another way we at Citrix are following through on our commitment to provide continuous value-add for our customers. All roads lead back to our investment into the Citrix platform, making it the only solution you need to securely deliver any type of enterprise application. Now, the Citrix platform becomes more powerful than ever with the integration of the world-leading browser in the consumer and enterprise markets, and one that the majority of our customers already favor.

• Harnessing Chrome’s world-class web browser: This partnership enables Citrix customers to seamlessly deliver an enterprise browser for private and SaaS web applications without having to deploy a new or different browser to their users.

Stemming from this announcement, Citrix and Google are working on an exciting joint roadmap. Businesses will benefit from Citrix and Chrome Enterprise’s collaboration across:

• Malware detection and prevention: advanced protection against malware, phishing, social engineering, and unauthorized data access;
• Data protection: advanced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) that stops corporate data from being inadvertently or intentionally sent outside of the company, including to generative AI;
• Centralized management: simplified browser management with integrated analytics and policy-driven configurations; and 
• Secure Private Access integration: deepened zero trust network access (ZTNA) capabilities through Citrix Secure Private Access, offering seamless, VPN-less access to private applications with enhanced protocol and network controls as well as other key features such as micro-segmentation, limiting lateral movement in an attack.
