SIVGA’s New M260 Retro-Inspired Wired Earbuds For Music And Gaming
Mark Sparrow · 2026-05-08 · via Forbes - Consumer Tech
SIVGA M260 earphones

The SIVGA M260 wired earphpnes have a retro-inspired design and is available as a USB-C version or analog 3.5mm.

SIVGA

Headphone and earphone brand SIVGA has announced the launch of the M260 Hi-Fi wired earbuds designed for music lovers, commuters and gamers. With a retro-inspired aesthetic combined with modern driver technology. SIVGA says the M260 earphones offer high-quality sound at an affordable price.

Drawing inspiration from the golden era of portable audio, the M260 have a classic earbud form factor that harks back to an age of vintage cassette players and early portable CD systems. The metallic finish and exposed grille design give the M260 a distinctive retro character, while the lightweight construction is designed to make the earphones comfortable to wear for extended listening sessions.

Whether paired with a modern smartphone, laptop or handheld gaming device, the M260 is designed to bridge the gap between generations of audio design by offering a timeless look with modern performance levels.

The M260 earphones from SIVGA are part of a wide renaissance of wired earphones.

SIVGA

Wide Soundstage

The M260 earphones use 14.2mm dynamic driver fitted with a copper-ring composite bio-diaphragm engineered to produce a wide soundstage with clarity. The copper-ring composite bio-diaphragm boosts diaphragm control, which reduces distortion and improves overall tonal balance.

MORE FOR YOU

This result of the driver is balanced tuning with smooth sound that’s designed for natural vocal presentation, making the M260 suitable for everything from streaming playlists and podcasts to immersive gaming sessions. Subtle in-game cues, dialogue clarity and layered soundtracks are reproduced with clarity, giving gamers and music wired performance that’s free from latency issues.

To further optimize the M260’s performance, SIVGA has used a lightweight copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil for faster transient response and improved clarity. An N50 neodymium magnet provides powerful drive and precise control across the frequency range. With a frequency response of 20Hz – 20kHz, 118dB sensitivity and 16Ω impedance, SIVGA says the M260 earphones are easy to drive directly from smartphones, computers and laptops as well as handheld gaming consoles.

The SIVGA M260 have a cable fitted with MMCX connectors, which are detachable so the cable can be renewed or upgraded.

SIVGA

Detachable MMCX Cable

The M260 has an MMCX detachable cable system, enabling users to swap cables easily for a flexible customization of sound. The included 4N silver-plated OFC cable is designed for a clean and detailed signal transmission while making the cable more durable.

There are two versions of the M260. The first has a 3.5mm L-shaped plug designed to reduce cable strain and improve durability. For smartphones without a headphone jack, there is a version with a USB-C straight plug with integrated DAC and microphone. The USB-C version uses a Realtek ALC5686 DAC that can handle up PCM files up to 32-bit/384kHz. A high-sensitivity microphone come with multi-function controls for taking calls, music playback and volume level control.

The M260 earphones are lightweight and come with four pairs of ear tips and a protective Oxford fabric carry case. The 1.2m cable offers flexibility for use at a desk, when commuting or gaming on the move.

The USB-C version of the SIVGA M260 earphones have a built-in Realtek DAC and a remote control with microphone for calls.
