Yet these moves will bring the interfaces of macOS and iPadOS closer together, and that presents a risk to Apple and a chance for the competition to catch up to the MacBook Pro.
The transition towards a touch-optimized macOS interface is forcing a reduction of information density and pointer-precision for high-end professional workflows.
