Jabra PanaCast U30 Video Bar Simplifies Video Meetings In Small Rooms

Jabra PanaCast U30 in small meeting room

The new Jabra Panacast U30 is a video and soundbar for holding hybrid meetings in smaller meeting rooms and huddle spaces for up to six participants.

JABRA

Danish electronics brand Jabra has launched the PanaCast U30, a USB video bar designed for small meeting rooms and huddle spaces where people bring their own laptop and simply connect to the video bar’s built-in camera and sound system using a single USB cable.

Designed for small meeting rooms and huddle spaces for up to six people, the Jabra PanaCast U30 offers intelligent video technology with professional-quality audio, all housed in a compact bar that’s easy to deploy for hybrid meetings.

Many organizations would like to have video facilities in all their available meeting rooms, but equipping smaller spaces can be difficult due to the cost involved and the complexity of rolling out a solution for every type of space. As a result, smaller meeting rooms often lack the necessary technology for holding effective hybrid meetings.

“Small meeting spaces are where many of the most important conversations happen,” says Holger Reisinger, Senior Vice President, Jabra Video Business Unit. “As teams look to support hybrid work, there’s a growing need to make more of these spaces meeting-ready. With the Jabra PanaCast U30, we’re delivering intelligent video and professional audio in a compact, easy-to-deploy solution that makes it easier to equip more small rooms for video meetings.”

The Panacast U30 is available with a range of mounting options including wall, VESA and table stand mounting.

Simple BYOD Experience

The new Panacast U30 is designed for an improved Bring Your Own Device experience. A BYOD system means users can walk into a meeting room, connect their laptop with a single USB-C cable and start a meeting with their preferred software, such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, as well as other platforms that can access a regular webcam.

Before the user connects their laptop, the room display connected to the Panacast U30 shows a choice of built-in wallpapers with clear on-screen instructions, guiding users to getting meetings started without delay while also reducing the need for any additional tech support. In an upcoming release, users will also be able to create and upload their own wallpapers to the system’s home screen using the Jabra Plus software.

Video performance on the Panacast U30 is optimized for small spaces by using a wide 120° field of view lens, which ensures all participants around a meeting table can be seen, even in the smallest of spaces. Features such as Intelligent Zoom, Virtual Director and Dynamic Composition automatically follow the conversation in the room, adjusting the view as people speak to make sure all the participants are clearly in the frame.

Full-Duplex Audio

Combined with a built-in speaker and six microphones, the Panacast U30 provides full-duplex audio so conversations sound and feel more natural and fluid, with every voice being heard both in the room and on the other end of the call.

Rolling out video collaboration across multiple small meeting spaces requires solutions that are also quick to install and easy to support. To this end, Jabra offers multiple mounting options, including wall, VESA and table stands, enabling the system to adapt to different room layouts and requirements.

The Panacast packaging allows key components to be accessed and configured without removing the device from the box, while integrated cable routing and on-device guidance are included for clean and repeatable setups across multiple rooms.

Remote Management

Ongoing management of the Panacast U30 can be controlled using Jabra Plus software, which lets IT teams monitor the device’s health, deploy updates and manage multiple rooms using a single interface.

The PanaCast U30 can also be managed over a network or directly via USB, giving IT teams flexibility depending on the device’s environment. For settings that require offline control, firmware updates can be performed locally, which will please security-conscious organizations.

PanaCast U30 is a Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform-based product, which means it offers strengthened security and enhanced meeting experiences. On-screen guidance helps users to get started, while the Jabra Plus app provides simple remote management with local update options.

Pricing and Availability:

The Jabra PanaCast U30 will be available in May 2026 and will be priced at $899 / £729 / €839.
