A temporary office of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) was set on fire by unidentified persons in Pettavaithalai near Tiruchi in the early hours of Friday (May 1, 2026).
Police sources said the office, functioning from a 20x20 ft thatched pandal erected at the entrance of a house on Main Road, belonged to Veerasiva, 48, son of Veeramalai, a resident of Pettavaithalai. He is the Tiruchi district farmers’ wing secretary of the party.
