Mr. Sandhu said the vision of a developed India, articulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, derives its strength from the character, commitment and aspirations of the youth.
Congratulating the students who were felicitated for qualifying the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and State civil services examinations, he urged the aspiring civil servants to ensure that governance remains grounded in integrity, empathy and service to the people.

Mr. Sandhu also told them to view public authority as a responsibility rather than a privilege. “Underlined that public authority is a responsibility, not a privilege, and that governance must always remain grounded in integrity, empathy and service to the people,” the Lieutenant-Governor wrote in the post.
